YOU already HAVE the most advanced fitness machine ever created – Your Body. It is the only thing that you are never without.
But, do you use it?
I could spend a lot of time on my perspective regarding physical fitness, but we already know that you need to exercise and eat nutritiously to remain healthy. The problem is that there is a huge disconnect between knowledge and action.
Here’s a quote from the greatest martial artist that ever lived – Bruce Lee
“Knowing is not enough, we must apply, Willing is not enough we must do”
What I try to impress on my Fitness class participants is that life is made up of effective patterns and habits. You need to commit mentally, emotionally and physically if you are to achieve your individual goals and improve your level of fitness and health. I can’t do it for them. I can coach and guide, but it is up to the individual alone to be successful.
Your behaviour now directly affects your behaviour in the future. You need to harness your subconscious mind to help achieve your goals. Every time you push through discomfort and put your goals first your resolve is strengthened.
So focus on progressing. Kick it up a notch. Go from “coasting” to “DOING.”
By creating the right balance of body and mind, YOU WILL banish stress, overcome failure, defeat fear and depression and have a much happier lifestyle.
