I hope your summer is going great – just like
we all deserve!
During my summer holidays I met this spunky
95 year old farmer that had a great solution for anyone who wanted to build up
their muscle strength in the arms and shoulders. It's so easy, I thought I'd
pass it on.
First, he suggests that you do this
exercise at least three times a week.
With a 5-pound potato sack in each hand,
extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as
you can. Each time you do it you should be able to hold
the position for just a bit longer.
After a couple of weeks, move up to
10-pound potato sacks. Then use 50-pound
potato sacks, and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-pound
potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full
minute. After you feel confident at that
level, put a potato in each of the sacks….
